The northwestern region of Cameroon is among the most interesting from cultural and ethnographic point of view and is made up of small mosaic of peoples, each with their own traditions.

 

The whole region is scattered with chefferies, or centers of traditional power, depositaries of ancient hierarchy’s guarantors of the community order, both spiritually and administratively.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Douala

Arrive at Douala International airport, welcome by the guide, transfer to hotel for diner and night.

Day 2 : Douala – Ekom Nkam waterfalls – Melong

From the markets of economic capital to Ekom waterfalls of Nkam river.

Day 3 : Melong – Batoufam – Bandjoun – Bapa – Bafoussam

Discovering the kingdom of Bandjoun and Batoufam, a traditional Bamileke chefferies

Day 4 : Bafoussam – Foumbot – Koutaba – Foumban
