Pygmy – Call of Forest
– 12 days / 11 nights
Pygmies peoples are etchin groups whose average heigh is unusually short. Call of forest by pygmy is a wonderfull trip started with Lomé and ended in Kribi with pygmies.



Itinerary
Day 1 : Yaounde
Arrive at Nsimalen International airport, welcome by our guide and transfer at hotel for dinner and night.
Day 2–4: Yaounde – Abong mbang – Mindourou
Departure very early in the morning, we board our 4 x 4 to Abong Mbang, we have 584 kms driving. The road is asphalted in a great distance as we left the forest of center plateau passing through Awae, Ayos and several other village visiting their local peoples and taking pictures, attractive sites alonfg the road, splendid landscapes, historic sites, local markets, various type of dwelling. Continue to Mindouru, stopover in Djouyaya to visit the pygmies village, famous for their known how in traditional medecines and by the late hours in the evening watch the pygmies perform to the tortoise dance, dinner and night under tents.
Day 5 : Mindourou – Lomie
Pick up early after breakfast and departure to Lomié passing through Nkoul village, upon arrival at the pygmy Camp in Lomié. Learn about the interesting aspects of the pygmy life, their housing pattern and family structure, eating habitats, folklore and dances. Dinner and night under tents.
Day 6–7 : Lomié
Spend the whole day trekking with pygmies in the forest and learn their hunting technic, traditional medicines, some of them can trek hundreds of kilometers without using any scientific apparels such as GDS or compass. While in the forest with pygmies discover the unique rainforest species of plants, insects, birds, and some mammals. Dinner and night under tents.
Day 8 : Lomié – Abong Mbang – Yaounde
Return from the forest after breakfast and activities with pygmies and drive to Yaounde. Arrival in evening. Dinner and night at hotel.
Day 9 : Yaounde - Kribi - Lolodorf
After breakfast, departure to Kribi and continuation to lolodorf. Lunch before visiting pygmy Camp. In the evening, you will discover and appreciate pygmies traditional dances with smooth tones and step-based fantastic rhythm, dinner and night under tents
Day 10 : Lolodorf – Bipindi
Breakfast, a rapid green trip to experience life in the forest. Departure from Bipindi to visit Bipindi pymies village and their traditional settlement, possible to meet and discuss with the king. Various activities with pygmy. Dinner and night under tents.
Day 11 : Bipindi – Kribi
Departure in the morning to Kribi. Full day to relax at Kribi beach. Dinner and night at Ilomba Hotel.
Day 12 : Kribi – Douala
Departure to Douala. Douala city tour and evening drive to airport and end of stay
